Felicia Webb is a documentary photographer who focuses on social issues. Her project, Anorexia Nil by mouth, photographs those suffering with anorexia in their every day life and gives people an insight into how harmful this disease really is.
I really like her photographs because I think it holds such a strong meaning and message for people. I think the way that the photographs use lighting and exposure are really effective. By doing this, it creates a strange feel to them and emphasises the dangers of anorexia. I think this is what Webb’s intentions were because if the photographs were bright and full of colour than the real message of this illness would be erased.
