‘Thinspiration’

‘Thinspiration’ – The phrase named to admiration for someone who is thin and them being their inspiration to get slim too. This phrase has been used all over social media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and many other sites. Many people will post the images and then use a hashtag so that other people can see it and it will ‘trend’.

When searching ‘Thinspiration’ on Google, i was very shocked at what i found. There have been many Internet memes made in response to these images.

 

 

Therefore, proving just how influential social media and this new method of sharing images and photography can have on our bodies and our minds.
